We were blessed today in such a precious way that I wanted to share of God's faithfulness.
I was travelling home through a region not too familiar with me when I got inundated by local traffic coming out of a community fair. Not knowing much about the area I wanted to get out of the log jam and over to the highway in order to get home sooner. I saw a street that I thought would logically go through to the highway if I were to be able to turn left. Well, of course in the state we live in logic rarely is used in road planning so I ended up on a long dead end road. In hindsight if it had been the route I anticipated there should have been many more locals choosing "my" path of least resistance.
At the end of the road was a house with the remnants of a very large yard sale and out on the curb for trash was a variety of bikes of the smaller scale. I stopped and asked the man cleaning up if I could take a bike and was told to take as many as I would like. I looked and there was a 20" bike, purple and looking very good except for flat tires. I could only fit one in the car anyway and this 20 incher was exactly was I had been "shopping" for for about a year. I put it in my trunk and was about to leave when the man asked if he could help and he reloaded it so that it would completely fit in my trunk with the lid shut. What a gracious gift to me!
The bike was a complete blessing as my middle cutie has long, long legs and she is still riding around on a toddler 12" bike with her knees knocking the handlebars. It's rather clownish and she has been longsuffering in our search for another bike for her to ride. I was so blessed by God to see that he is taking care of our every need and some small desires too. She was thrilled to get it and now is impatient to have it fixed up so she can graduate to the world of big girl riding. God is so good to this mama's heart. Thank you Lord for your every kindness.

Don't you love when the Lord does this?! He who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, tenderly leads those with young!! What a neat picture of His specific care for the needs (and wants) of your family!
