Super Tuesday

Well our Tuesday is super for entirely different reasons than most.

My beloved had his job talk early this morning, 7:30, and overall it went well. They started off standing at the same room where they gave the presentation last time and not another soul showed up. A quick phone call later they were being escorted not just to another room but to another building entirely! They made it there right before the head honcho showed up so no real problem.

He felt that it went well from the fact that they kept asking questions and that they were there a long time. He also found out that one of the 3 candidates has dropped out so that lowers the competition. Overall he is greatly relieved it is over and that God granted him favor and wisdom through the process.

The other great bit of news is that we got an email from Singapore and the parents have signed off on the paperwork! We are now a full step closer to the reality of bringing Sweetpea home. There are still pitfalls to pray through, of course:

• Pray that the financial situation is resolved and that all the needs are met.
• Pray that the parents will fulfill their obligation and promises.
• Pray that the documents that they wish us to sign will materialize soon so that it does not wait until the last minute.
• Pray that God would grant us peace and grant Sweetpea the ability to make this transition without undue trauma.
